What Loopstead does
Loopstead is a free, browser-based tool that loops YouTube videos alongside a Pomodoro timer. It runs as a single static web page in your browser. It uses YouTube's public embed API to play videos.
Your use of the service
You agree to:
- Use the Service for lawful purposes only
- Comply with YouTube's Terms of Service, since the Service plays YouTube content
- Not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service or its underlying APIs in ways that disrupt the experience for other users
- Not use the Service to violate copyright or other intellectual property rights
Content
Loopstead does not host, upload, or store any video, audio, or other user content. All playable media is loaded directly from YouTube via its embed API. Loopstead is not responsible for the content of third-party videos. Any concerns about video content should be directed to YouTube.
Your data
All data you create in the Service — playlists, todos, history — is stored in your browser's local storage. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. We do not have a copy. For more detail, see the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. YouTube may change its embed API at any time, which could break features without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Loopstead is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including, but not limited to, loss of data, lost productivity, or lost work, even when foreseeable.
If you rely on the Service for important work, please save your work elsewhere. The Service stores your data in your browser, and that storage can be cleared by your browser, your device, or an extension without warning.
Advertising
The Service may display advertisements (e.g. through Google AdSense) to support its operation. By using the Service, you acknowledge that ads may be shown. The presence of an ad does not imply endorsement of the advertised product by Loopstead.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by closing the tab. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service, or block access from specific IPs or regions, at our discretion.
